Thesleff raises £40,000 at CEO Sleepout
Markus Thesleff, founder and CEO of The Thesleff Group, achieved a milestone at the CEO Sleepout on 25 November, raising over £40,000 – a personal best that surpasses the £26,000 he raised last year.
The funds contributed to the event’s total of £200,000, which will go towards charities such as Only A Pavement Away, which supports people in hospitality who are facing homelessness.
"Every year, this experience reminds me of just how much we take for granted in our daily lives," says Thesleff. "I only spent one night on the streets, but it’s nothing compared to what so many people face on a daily basis. That’s exactly why the CEO Sleepout matters. The initiative is a lifeline for smaller charities such as Only a Pavement Away, giving them the support they need to change lives."
Thesleff is an entrepreneur with over two decades of international experience in hospitality. His ventures include OKKU in Dubai and Riyadh, Los Mochis in Notting Hill and Sale e Pepe in Knightsbridge.
