Splendid Hospitality Group supports Mission Christmas

Volunteers from the restaurant division of Splendid Hospitality Group—which owns hotel brands including Holiday Inn, Ibis and Mercure—stepped up in Birmingham to unpack donations, fulfil orders and tidy up a warehouse in support of Cashforkids' Mission Christmas.

The charity provides toys and gifts to children in need. Splendid’s 38 KFC restaurant team members in the Midlands and the north-east have also helped the charity raise over £200,000 in 2024.

Managing director Ben Clayton, chief financial officer Deshan Karunaratne, and 20 team members volunteered for the day at the Birmingham warehouse depot. Further sorting days are set to take place in the coming weeks.
