Chris Emery to head up Crazy Bear's new restaurant

OAK by Chris Emery is a brand-new restaurant set to open at Crazy Bear Stadhampton in January.

Seating just 42 diners, OAK will champion local and seasonal ingredients through innovative dishes inspired by Emery’s career.

Emery brings a wealth of experience to OAK, having honed his craft at establishments including The Waterside Inn and Jason Atherton’s Michelin-starred Pollen Street Social. 

The redesigned restaurant combines contemporary elegance with a rustic charm that reflects its Oxfordshire countryside setting. As he chef explains: "With OAK, we've created a space and a menu that focuses on letting the seasons guide us."

Menu highlights will include steamed brill with scallop, fennel, celeriac and green curry sauce; and cured salmon with burnt cucumber, nori and lettuce purée.
