Cafe Linea coming to chelsea

A new neighbourhood restaurant, bar and bakery is set to open in the Grade-II listed,19th-century arcade overlooking Duke of York Square this summer.
Cafe Linea will offer all-day dining in the heart of Chelsea. Inspired by the cafés and bistros in historic arcades of Europe, Cafe Linea will serve produce-led, modern classics and elevated comfort food.
The concept was founded by husband-and-wife team Greg and Felicity Godik. Situated next to London’s famous Saatchi Gallery, Cafe Linea’s interiors have been designed by Dion & Arles, the team involved in venues such as Chiltern Firehouse, Dovetale and The Standard, London. The space will blend historic features, including vaulted ceilings and arched alcoves, with a modern, yet warm and timeless aesthetic.
Dining at Cafe Linea
In addition to à la carte dining, guests will enjoy freshly baked morning pastries to accompany artisan coffee, inventive bar snacks alongside evening drinks and an exciting range of miniature cakes and pâtisserie, all produced by the onsite bakery and pastry kitchen.
The restaurant will focus on produce-led menus and seasonality. The morning offering will include fresh, homemade bread and a changing selection of artisanal pastries, alongside a fuller breakfast and brunch menu.
Later in the day, guests will enjoy an all-day à la carte offering, featuring dishes such as ricotta dumplings with mushrooms and a sharing curried chicken pie alongside snacks, savouries and sweets from the bakery.
Chef-partner Carolina Ferpozzi, originally from Argentina, brings her experience from working alongside respected South American chefs Fernando Trocca and Narda Lepes. Joining the team is general manager and partner Steven Mason, previously of Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons and the three Michelin-starred Odette in Singapore.
The drinks offering will include a dynamic wine list specialising in small, innovative old-world producers, including an impressive range of sparkling and sweet wines designed to complement the bakery offerings. The menu will also feature signature cocktails, alongside lighter aperitifs and after-dinner digestifs.
