New Giraffe World Kitchen opens at Heathrow

Travel hub hospitality operator TRGC has announced the opening of Giraffe World Kitchen at London’s Heathrow Airport, in partnership with Boparan Restaurant Group.
Offering 157 covers, the site brings Giraffe’s signature dining experience to passengers in Terminal 3’s international departure lounge.
TRGC repurposed a former Wagamama site for the second time to house the new Giraffe World Kitchen. Passengers in the restaurant can enjoy an extensive all-day menu of international cuisine, from Asian street food to classic American burgers.
The partnership
With a partnership spanning almost two decades, TRGC and Boparan have built upon their track record of development success in UK airports to launch their seventh site together and sixth Giraffe location.
The opening expands TRGC’s presence in Terminal 3 to three units. It also demonstrates TRGC’s impressive pipeline of openings, having recently launched Sanfords at Luton airport, the most extensive restaurant within any UK airport.
“We are so incredibly proud of the long-standing partnership with Boparan that affords us the opportunity to be agile in identifying travel hub spaces for the Giraffe brand and building at pace," says Kirsten Pottinger, commercial director of TRGC. "Teams across both businesses have worked tirelessly to create yet another stunning Giraffe restaurant and compelling family-first menu. We are really excited about landing in T3!”
James Dodd, head of marketing at Boparan, adds: “This expansion reflects our long-standing partnership with TRG and our shared commitment to delivering vibrant, global flavours to travellers. With this latest addition, Giraffe now boasts six airport locations across the UK and 15 globally, reinforcing our position as a top Family Casual, go-to dining destination for world explorers."
