Restaurant business to hire more than 100 staff
Black and White Hospitality, the company which owns and manages eight Marco Pierre White branded concepts, is looking to hire more than 100 people to fill roles created as lockdown restrictions ease across the UK.
The group operates upwards of 40 sites, and current reopening plans will see six venues welcome al fresco diners from 12 April, followed by 26 venues opening on 17 May with indoor dining, and all venues reopening as of 21 June, subject to devolved government decisions in Wales and Scotland.
“It’s been well documented that the hospitality sector, like many others, has been hit hard over the last 12 months," says Nick Taplin, chairman and CEO of Black and White Hospitality.
"However, there seems to be light at the end of the lockdown tunnel and we can’t wait to welcome guests back again to all of our restaurants.
“Our franchise partners are now busy putting plans in place for a safe and very welcome return to business and need staff who will make guests’ experience second-to-none.
“Initial indictors suggest that demand to eat out will be very high, and if last summer is anything to go by then all our sites will are going to be in for a very busy time.
“We’ve also been putting in place measures that will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, so that those who dine with us can do so safe in the knowledge that all has been done to safeguard their health and that of the staff.”
