Coppa Club heads to Bristol

Various Eateries-owned Coppa Club will open its new Bristol site in Clifton Village on the 14 July, its first site in the south west of England.

Spanning two floors in a former PizzaExpress site, the original Old Linen Workshop has been transformed into a spacious 200-cover venue, creating a space that combines elements of a café, bar, restaurant and lounge into one offering.

The multi-purpose spaces have been designed for work meetings, lunch with friends, student coffee breaks, evening cocktails, light bites at the bar and full dining experiences.

Morning artisanal pastries, buckwheat and rye pancakes and garden breakfast plates are available while weekends will host brunch.

For lunch and dinner, Coppa’s seasonal European dishes include sharing plates of burrata with peas and broad beans; sashimi grade tuna carpaccio with yuzu dressing; and truffle and smoked mozzarella arancini to start.

Heartier dishes of halibut ‘al cartoccio’ with fennel, freekeh and anchovy; roast lamb rump with rosemary; and Loch Duart salmon with braised puy lentils are also available. Elsewhere, lighter salads and grain bowls sit alongside fresh pastas and thin-crusted sourdough pizzas.

“It is with great excitement that we bring Coppa Club to Bristol, we couldn’t think of a better location than opening in south west England; Bristol is an exciting and vibrant city," says Various Eateries' CEO Yishay Malkov.

"Our venues are designed to give people a home-from-home experience, a place where they can work, eat, drink, meet or relax - anytime of the day, until late.

"We’ve got a great team of over 75 locals in place so can’t wait to open the doors and start welcoming the Clifton community."
