BTG appoints new F&B director
Big Table Group (BTG), operator of Las Iguanas, Bella Italia and Café Rouge, has appointed David Rust to the brand-new role of food and beverage (F&B) director.
Rust has over 30 years' experience within hospitality, working with various brands across the hotel, restaurant and leisure sectors. He joins BTG from Brewhouse and Kitchen, where he was head of food, and previously filled the same position at Whitbread for more than 10 years.
The role requires Rust to continually improve the quality of food and drink across all BTG brands. He will oversee menu planning and development across Las Iguanas, Bella Italia and Café Rouge. This marks the first time that food development teams across all brands will report to the same person.
Rust says of his appointment: "This is a really exciting role with iconic brands and fantastic, award-winning chefs. I'm looking forward to working with our food development teams to share expertise, encourage innovation and continue to drive quality across the BTG."
