Aqua Restaurant Group is expanding its portfolio with the launch of its fifth outpost in the capital.
Launching in late November, Shiro is a Japanese restaurant bar arriving at Liverpool Street's Broadgate Circle. Hugely popular in Hong Kong, the home of Shiro, the menu is inspired by Japan's foodie hotspots – Ginza, Shinjuku and Shibuya in Tokyo.
From crystal sushi, invented by Shiro's chefs, which adds a layer of umami flavour to traditional sushi, to ramen made with executive head chef Iwahashi's 50-year-old family recipe, Shiro's menus are reflective of modern Japanese cuisine while featuring dishes steeped in tradition.
Shiro will also introduce London diners to competitively priced lunchtime sets – a take on the Japanese bento box. For after work drinks, sake-based cocktails and Japanese beers will be served.
Located in Broadgate's upper circle, the restaurant will be just a minute's walk from Liverpool Street Station, with Moorgate station just a short five-minute walk away.
