Cochran features Eatplanted at Valderrama

James Cochran has added a vegan burger from Eatplanted to the menu at Valderrama, launching the restaurant's first plant-based burger partnership.

Opening earlier this year, Valderrama’s is London’s first inclusive sports viewing venue. Cochran’s ‘Around The Cluck’ fried chicken concept, housed in Valderrama's, gained a cult following during lockdown, finding its permanent home on site in May.

Valderrama’s will now offer a new plant-based chicken burger, featuring eatplanted.chicken tenders and created with the chef's culinary flair. The vegan burger will sit alongside some of Cochran’s well-known classics such as The Bombay Mix and The Original, featuring his famed scotch bonnet jam.

The Drip Too Hard burger will be big and bold, made with plant-based buttermilk Eatplanted fried chicken base, drenched in vegan bacon XO sauce and citrus mayonnaise and topped with crispy shallots and Szechuan cucumber.

Valderrama’s, named after Carlos Valderrama, the iconic playmaker captain of the famous Colombian 90’s football team, takes inspiration from the player’s much-loved style, fun and sporting grace. The retro interior is packed with world-class artworks and murals by renowned local artists, evoking classic 90’s nostalgia alongside Cochran’s menu.

The Drip Too Hard Burger is available to purchase now until 31 January.

On the new menu addition, Cochran comments: "We want Valderrama’s to be truly inclusive, and that means catering to those who might not want to eat chicken too. With our Eatplanted chicken burger, I’m confident it will be a winner, giving a new take on the Around the Cluck concept for all to enjoy."
