Libertine Burger to open third restaurant

Libertine Burger has announced plans to open a third restaurant, with the launch forming part of the group's national expansion strategy.

The Warwickshire-based burger brand moved its flagship premises in Leamington Spa to a new home last year as part of plans to rollout more branches across the country. It also has a second restaurant located nearby in Rugby.

The new site will open in Stratford-upon-Avon, building on the two current venues as well as a growing nationwide delivery service and the burger truck arm of the business. Due to open in March, the restaurant will create at least 20 jobs in the local community.

Libertine Burger founder Charles Harris comments: "We spent a long time looking for the perfect place for our third site and Stratford-upon-Avon is just right. Thanks to our nationwide delivery service, people across the country can enjoy a Libertine Burger at home, but we know everyone loves the full restaurant experience and now we can bring that to even more people thanks to the new restaurant.

"The new Leamington restaurant created a blueprint for our future venues, so Stratford will follow that design, ensuring we can serve up our great burgers in a unique setting for people who live, work and visit the town. We can’t wait to open our doors and show everyone our new home."

Libertine offers a range of signature beef, chicken and vegan-friendly burgers. Its latest creation is the #512, which includes Libertine’s signature vegan patty, a plant-based brioche bun, THIS Isn’t Bacon (plant-based rashers), Baconnaise, Vegan Bourbon bacon jam, vegan Frazzles, ketchup, French’s mustard, lettuce and pickles.
