Selina Margate relaunches with on-site restaurant

Selina, the experiential hospitality brand targeting millennial and Gen Z travellers, has launched a brand-new British- and European-style restaurant, Howm (pronounced home), and Latin American-inspired beer garden, Xinalba, on site at its Margate hotel.

Howm Margate will deliver all-day dining with healthy British and European classics, using local producers, breweries and coffee roasters. Open from 8am daily, Howm Margate offers brunch and Sunday lunch, as well as being an evening destination for music and art lovers.

The hotel’s new spacious beer garden, Xibalba, celebrates Selina’s Latin American roots by providing a Latin fusion bar and restaurant, offering hand-pressed corn tortilla tacos, fresh ceviche and agave and rum cocktails.

Moran Etedgi, global executive chef at Selina comments: "Following the opening of Selina Margate at the end of 2022, we’re incredibly excited to be expanding the hotel’s offering ahead of what will be our busiest season yet with a new on-site restaurant and beer garden.

"After a successful trial of our restaurant concept, Howm, in North and Latin America, Europe and Israel, we’re now delighted to be able to introduce the brand to the UK – the third F&B venue Selina has opened this month – as well as our Xibalba brand."

Selina currently operates seven UK hotels, located in London, Manchester, Liverpool, Brighton, Birmingham and Margate.
