Sticks'n'Sushi secures two south-west London restaurants

Sticks’n’Sushi continues its measured growth with two further openings, the first set to open in Kingston upon Thames in October, followed by Richmond in early 2024.

Aiming to replicate the success of the group's first UK restaurant in Wimbledon 11 years ago, the Danish-Japanese business has revisited its residential roots with these new openings, offering south-west London locals and visitors to the royal borough an opportunity to experience the Japanese fare for which the group is famed.

Kingston will be the brand's biggest restaurant to date, with 220 covers set over two floors with a large external terrace and private dining room, located on the corner of Wood Street and Clarence Street in the historic Bentall Centre.

The menu at Sticks’n’Sushi Kingston will continue to offer guest favourites such as the ‘Sushi Sister’ sashimi sharing menu and ‘Ebi Bites’ (pictured), offering the group's unique combination of traditional sushi, salads and grilled yakitori sticks. The food menu is complemented by an extensive drinks list, including cocktails, sake and a list of delicate Japanese teas.

The new restaurant will be open seven days a week, with collection and delivery also available.

Andreas Karlsson, group CEO, comments: "We have had South West London on our wish list of locations ever since our first opening in Wimbledon during the year of the summer Olympics. It brings us great joy to announce that we will be opening these new restaurants in two landmark buildings located at the heart of their neighbourhoods. South West London is an area close to our heart and origins, we are eagerly awaiting for the opportunity to welcome new and loyal guests to enjoy the Sticks'n'Sushi experience."
