Lina Stores launches in Clapham

Lina Stores opens its brand-new site in Clapham today (30 June). Located on the corner of The Pavement and Bromell’s Road, the 80-cover neighbourhood restaurant will bring its signature antipasti, pasta dishes and dolci to south London for the first time.

The new branch joins the group's existing sites on Brewer Street and Greek Street in Soho, as well as venues in King's Cross, The City and Marylebone. Overlooking the Common, Lina Stores Clapham will be open for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday, with breakfast offered at weekends.

The menu by head chef Masha Rener starts with small plates such as Ricotta & Herb Gnudi Fritti with Calabrian Chilli Marmellata and Anchovy, Caper & Rocket Bruschetta. Lina Stores’ fresh, handmade pasta will be at the heart of the experience, with both signature dishes and new offerings making an appearance. Highlights will include Ricotta Tre Latte, Pea & Mint Triangoli with Ricotta Salata, Linguine with Crab and Amalfi Lemon as well as Pappardelle with Lamb Sausage Ragù. To finish, desserts will include Lina Stores' Tiramisù and Chocolate Mousse with Salted Caramel.

A new addition to this location will be the breakfast, served from Friday to Sunday. Diners can expect both sweet and savoury options such as Slow-Roasted Porchetta and Fried Egg Focaccia Panino, Truffle Scrambled Eggs on Toasted Sourdough and Maple Roasted Granola with Yoghurt and Berries.

Complementing the menu will be a succinct wine list consisting of organic and biodynamic wines from all corners of Italy, and classic Italian aperitivi and cocktails.

"We are incredibly excited to bring Lina Stores to Clapham Common for our first restaurant south of the river. With its tight-knit local community, Clapham is the perfect neighbourhood for our first restaurant in south London, and we’re thrilled to welcome patrons old and new to our new home," says Rener.
