Chinese Cricket Club launches in Blackfriars

Influenced by the flavours of China, Chinese Cricket Club’s menu celebrates the traditional techniques used in Chinese cuisine. Launching at the Hyatt Regency in London's Blackfriars, the restaurant also offers a takeaway service.

The newly launched restaurant boasts a diverse offering with dishes such as its signature smoked Peking duck served with cucumber, spring onion, Hoisin sauce, pineapple and pancakes, as well as tiger chilli crispy beef, homemade Dim Sum, wok-fried beef fillet with black pepper sauce, rice and noodles.

Desserts include matcha tiramisu, rose-raspberry delight and Chinese Cricket Club’s signature Mandarin Fortune.

The restaurant has speciality dishes named in honour of the fictional story of the captain of the Shanghai XI cricket team, Feng, who travelled to England in 1857 with his bride Xiu. The couple arrived at Blackfriars Docks and travelled to Limehouse, where Xiu opened the city's first authentic Chinese restaurant.

Chinese Cricket Club is one of three F&B outlets located at the Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars.

The restaurant is open from 12–2.30pm and 5.30–10.30pm every day and has a semi-private dining room which accommodates up to 12 people.
