Lazeez Tapas unveils new menu

Mayfair restaurant Lazeez Tapas has revealed a brand-new summer menu. With new dishes served alongside old favourites, the restaurant specialises in a range of Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine.

New to the menu is a brunch selection, with dishes including the Lazeez omelette, delicately flavoured with za’atar, shakshuka served with warm flatbread, and chia berry yoghurt with honey. Brunch can be enjoyed al fresco on the Duke Street terrace, where guests can sit and watch the world go by on Oxford Street.

The restaurant has been updated with new mango wood chairs and tables. In line with a desire to be as sustainable as possible, the team also upcycled stone offcuts for the kitchen work surfaces.

"Our entire team helped with the refurbishment," says Lazeez Tapas owner Emilio Malik. "They supported us to help us meet our tight deadline and budget."

Lazeez Tapas is also part of The Felix Project’s Restaurants Against Hunger initiative. The Felix Project is a London-based charity that rescues good, surplus food from the food industry that cannot be sold and would otherwise go to waste. This is then delivered to almost 1,000 front-line charities, primary schools and holiday programmes in London. Those who dine at Lazeez Tapas this summer can choose to add £2 to their bill to provide five meals for Londoners in need.
