Emilia's Crafted Pasta to open fourth restaurant

London's fresh pasta specialist Emilia's Crafted Pasta is launching a fourth restaurant, with Baker Street set to house the brand's latest venue when it opens this autumn.

With sites already in St Katharine Docks, Aldgate and Canary Wharf, the new branch will sit a stone's throw away from Regent's Park and Marylebone.

Emilia's Baker Street will seat 85 guests in total – 55 internally and 30 outdoors. It will feature the group's signature open kitchen and counter seating, as well as a custom-made pasta-making station.

The menu will offer such dishes as casarecce truffled cacao e pepe (with pecorino romano D.O.P. and Parmigiano reggiano D.O.P. sourced directly from Italy) and the hearty minimum four-hour slow-cooked pappardelle béchamel bolognese (made with 100% grass-fed beef from a farm in Devon) amongst many others. Vegans and vegetarians will also be well looked after with the homemade pistachio pesto and walnut sauce.

"I'm very excited that we're expanding into the heart of central London, following on from our successes in east London, the City and Canary Wharf and to be what will be the first four-site pasta restaurant group in the UK," says founder and CEO Andrew Macleod. "Comforting fresh pasta made with 100% natural ingredients should be affordable for everyone to enjoy on a regular basis and we look forward to continuing our pasta mission to become the UK's favourite pasta restaurant brand."
