St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel appoints head chef

Jack Hazell has been appointed as head chef at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel.

He joins the team following tenures at the likes of Tredwells, Claude Bosi at Bibendum and Marcus Wareing Group, where he held the position as head chef at The Gilbert Scott.

His 10 years of experience in fine dining make up an impressive history in Michelin-recognised establishments, as well as events.

Hazell ventured to London at 19, climbing up the culinary ranks. Joining Tredwells as a demi chef de partie, he spent five years perfecting his skills, earning him a position as head chef.

After that, he moved to Claude Bosi at Bibendum to further refine his expertise at Michelin-star level, before returning to the Marcus Wareing Group at The Gilbert Scott.

Most recently, he has held the position of senior sous chef at Marcus at The Berkeley.

He says he is looking forward to championing seasonal British ingredients throughout the menus at the hotel.
