Wahaca to open in Paddington

A Mexican-inspired restaurant group is preparing to open a new branch in Paddington, central London, later this month.

The launch will mark Wahaca's first new venue in seven years. It is set to be the group's most sustainable site yet, serving a reimagined menu of signature small plates along with some exclusive new additions.

Highlights include tacos, taquitos, quesadillas and churros, as well as show-stopping sharing places such as Lamb Barbacoa, Chimmichurri Cauliflower and Grilled Whole Achiote Seabass (pictured).

In a playful nod to one of the area's most famous fictional residents, the new Paddington's Mezcalita cocktail mixes Quiquiriqui Matatlan mezcal with guajillo chilli marmalade syrup and lime.

Eco-conscious dining

The restaurant will be located in the heart of Paddington Square, a dining destination within Paddington Station. The bespoke design will reflect the vibrancy and style of Mexican gastronomy, while running on 100% renewable energy with no carbon footprint.
