Following a successful launch of its flagship restaurant in December, premium seafood concept Shrink Shack is launching a second outpost in Camden in July.
With weekly revenues 66% above the original forecast, the Camden site will mark the group's first foray into a franchise partnership as the team sets its sights on growth.
The move to Camden comes as the brand aims to tap into central London locations to reach a wider customer base. As with the inaugural Streatham location, Shrimp Shack Camden will bring high-quality seafood to diners in the capital.
Franchising
Shrimp Shack's first franchise partner will be Bluewater Wealth Management Ltd, which is run by Mussa Patel, a property investor based in Dubai. It is hoped that the partnership will help the brand achieve expansion nationwide.
"We knew the Shrimp Shack concept would be a success, but the way people have embraced our vision, concept and food has been incredible," says Danny Caratella, group MD. "Following this, we wanted to open a second location so we could bring our bold and interesting flavours to more people, and Camden felt like the perfect fit."
