The Ivy Collection to open in Bournemouth

Bournemouth is set to welcome a new addition to its dining scene in November, as The Ivy Collection prepares to open its 42nd restaurant in the seaside town.

The Ivy Bournemouth Brasserie will be located by Bournemouth Square, a stone's throw from the town's iconic golden sands. From early-morning breakfasts to late-night cocktails, the restaurant will provide a space for up to 208 guests any time of day, also featuring a new outdoor terrace with space for up to 50 guests.

A vast range of dishes will be available, with guests choosing from classics like shepherd's pie and blackened cod, or exploring new flavours with dishes like artichoke and sweet potato tagine. The drinks menu will include expertly crafted cocktails, Champagne and a selection of fine wines.

Beyond the dining experience, The Ivy Bournemouth Brasserie will create 120 new jobs in the town.

At the helm of the new venture is general manager Barnaby Harris-Reid, who brings experience from The Ivy Chichester, and head chef Romuald Richomme.

Laura Mills, managing director of The Ivy Collection, says of the upcoming launch: "We're excited to bring The Ivy experience to the stunning seaside town of Bournemouth. With its close-knit community and iconic coastal location, it makes for the perfect spot for our next restaurant. The team can't wait to open the doors ahead of the festive season and delight Bournemouth residents with our unrivalled Ivy service and exceptional, seasonal dishes."
