Kushal Banerjee appointed Sticks 'n' Sushi CFO

A Danish-Japanese restaurant group specialising in sushi and grilled sticks has appointed Kushal Banerjee as its new chief financial officer (CFO).

Banerjee brings over 17 years of experience to his new role at Sticks 'n' Sushi. He will lead the company's finance teams across Copenhagen, Berlin, and London, and will head up the brand's financial decision-making, implementation of strategic board recommendations and contribute to the overall expansion of the group.

He joins the business from ASK and Zizzi operator Azzurri Group, where he worked as finance director for five years. His previous experience also includes positions at Daily Mail & General Trust PLC, Lion Capital and Manchester United.

"Sticks 'n' Sushi has always stood out to me as a beautifully curated brand, with a rich heritage and unique potential," Banerjee comments. "I'm thrilled to be joining the team as CFO at such an exciting time for the business and developing the strategy for expansion."

Brand CEO Andreas Karlsson adds: "We are delighted to have Kushal join the Sticks 'n' Sushi family. His extensive experience will be invaluable in supporting the brand growth and driving the business forward, as we continue to expand and explore into new territories, create new jobs and long-term value for our stakeholders."
