Sticks'n'Sushi appoints new chief marketing officer

Sticks′n′Sushi – the 30-strong Danish-Japanese restaurant group with sites in the UK, Denmark and Germany – has appointed Simon Gaske as its chief marketing officer.
With over 20 years of experience in hospitality, Gaske brings extensive commercial experience to the business and will work closely with CEO Andreas Karlsson as the group expands. He will be responsible for shaping the brand strategy, developing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns, driving growth and ensuring a unified approach across departments, with a focus on guest engagement.
He joins after two years as chief commercial officer at ETM Group, overseeing sales, digital, marketing and pricing. He has also held positions at Ambl (CMO), a tech start-up specialising in last-minute reservations for restaurants, and director of sales at Stonegate Group.
"It's an exciting time to join Sticks'n'Sushi," says Gaske. "The brand has a unique blend of Japanese craftsmanship and Danish creativity, and I look forward to building on this heritage to create fresh, engaging experiences for our guests. My focus will be on driving innovation, elevating our storytelling and strengthening our position in the market."
