Berber & Q celebrates 10th anniversary

This year marks a decade in the game for Berber & Q, the trailblazing Haggerston restaurant known for its bold fusion of North African and Eastern Mediterranean flavours with live-fire cooking inspired by American BBQ. To celebrate this milestone in style, chef and founder Josh Katz is curating a series of collaborative Sunday feasts – bringing together an all-star lineup of culinary talent to reimagine the classic Sunday Lunch.

The celebrations kick off on Sunday 30, March and will take place on a Sunday every month. Each feast will see Katz team up with chefs who share his passion for live-fire cooking, creating unique menus that blend their styles with Berber & Q’s signature flavours.

Guests can expect collaborations with the likes of:

  • 30 March, Jake Norman of Ottolenghi, whose culinary journey began at Berber & Q
  • 27 April, DJ BBQ, American BBQ aficionado and larger-than-life personality
  • 25 May, Ramael Scully, fermentation expert from Scully Restaurant
  • 31 August, Marc Summers, Bubala's Middle Eastern maestro, who has worked at Berber & Q
  • 28 September, Ben Quinn of Woodfired Canteen, celebrated live-fire chef
  • 26 October, Ana Ortiz, fire-cooking trailblazer and co-founder of Somerset's Fire Made
  • 30 November, Sophie Godwin, chef, cookbook author, recipe writer and co-founder of Scramble LDN

Diners can indulge in a three-course sharing feast (priced from £45 per person), featuring a selection of mezze to start, a chef’s reimagining of the Sunday Roast and a dessert platter to round things off.

“In this current climate, reaching 10 years is something that deserves to be celebrated,” says Katz. “I’m buzzing to collaborate with friends, past colleagues, and fellow fire enthusiasts to create some truly special dishes for our guests.”
