Rosa's Thai Cafe to open in Birmingham

This spring, Rosa’s Thai Cafe will expand its portfolio with launch of its first restaurant in the Midlands, located at Two Chamberlain Square in Birmingham's city centre, part of the new Paradise development.

The launch of Rosa’s Thai Cafe Birmingham marks the 23rd opening for the group, which currently holds sites in London, Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool.

The 80-cover restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, with dishes including founder Saiphin Moore’s (pictured) signature red butternut curry with sweet basil and drunken noodles with galangal.

Rosa’s Thai Cafe also offers an extensive selection of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal dishes.

“For us, the offer at Paradise was too good an opportunity to miss and we are extremely happy with the setting of our new restaurant overlooking Centenary Way," says Rosa's Thai Cafe managing director Gavin Adair.

"We can’t wait to welcome Brummies into our new space later this year and look forward to showing them our authentic, award-winning Thai food”.

Rob Groves, regional director of Argent, development manager for Paradise, adds: “Rosa’s is an outstanding new addition to Birmingham’s dining scene and we can’t wait to welcome the team to their new home in Two Chamberlain Square.

“We’re confident Rosa’s Thai Cafe will be a sure fire hit with both locals and visitors alike. With Rosa’s joining the previously announced Dishoom and Vinoteca, we are very proud that Paradise is now bringing a broad range of great, new restaurants to the city.”

Rosa’s Thai Cafe first opened in London’s Spitalfields in 2008 under Moore and her entrepreneur husband Alex.
