Hakkasan's taco pop-up confirms new collaboration

Casa Calavera, the virtual Mexican pop-up brand from Hakkasan Group, has announced is it working with Tom Booton, head chef of The Grill at The Dorchester, in its latest culinary collaboration.

Available via delivery to homes across London from Friday 16 April, the 'Casa Gets Grilled' taco is inspired by the Cumbrian beef tartare dish at The Dorchester for which Booton is renowned, and comprises a crispy taco filled with spicy beef tartare, egg yolk and pickled radish.

This latest collaboration will see chef Booton’s energetic, contemporary British cooking - and experience as the youngest head chef ever at The Grill at The Dorchester - combine with the authentic Mexican cooking methods of Casa Calavera.

Casa Calavera’s delivery-only concept was launched by Hakkasan Group during lockdown in the summer 2020, serving modern dishes that take inspiration from the street side taquerias and beachfront restaurants of Mexico, with a twist.

The Casa Gets Grilled taco will be available exclusively via Deliveroo until Monday 17 May, and multi-drop orders - in which the delivery can arrive to different households at the same time - can be arranged.

The dish will cost £16 for one portion (comprising two tacos) and will be available within 2.5 miles of St James and the City.
