Comptoir Group continues expansion with Southbank Centre venue

Comptoir Group Plc, owner and operator of Lebanese and Middle Eastern restaurant brands including Comptoir Libanais, has announced an upcoming opening at Southbank Centre, London.

The restaurant will reside in a coveted location opposite the entrance of the Royal Festival Hall, neighbouring Las Iguanas, Côte Brasserie and Honest Burgers. Hosting over 5,400 events a year, the Southbank Centre boasts an annual footfall of 19 million (2022/23), positioning the restaurant to capitalise on both local and international visitors exploring the capital.

Launching next Easter, the opening will bring the group's estate under the Comptoir Libanais brand to a total of 23 branches. Offering 135 covers indoors and an additional 48 outside, the restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering sharing platters of hot and cold mezze, grills, salads and wraps to eat in or takeaway, as well as a new Middle Eastern-inspired morning menu. The drinks list will feature a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, along with regional beers and Lebanese wines.

Comptoir Group CEO Nick Ayerst comments: "Following the successful recent opening in Ealing, we are pleased to announce the continued strategic growth in an area of London we have long desired to be in. The location on the South Bank captures an immensely high footfall of workers, visitors and tourists who we know will be hungry for our well-loved authentic Middle Eastern food and culture."
