Sticks'n'Sushi to launch Kids'n'Sushi masterclass

A casual dining restaurant chain is launching a series of sushi masterclasses for kids at its new Shoreditch restaurant.

Sticks'n'Sushi will deliver its Kids'n'Sushi masterclasses from 30 March, encouraging children to get hands-on with the popular Japanese fare.

Available at the group's Shoreditch high street restaurant, the classes will be suitable for kids aged 8–12 years and tailored to all skill levels.

The budding sushi masters will be taught to make kappa hosomaki rolls (cucumber), pink Alaska uramaki rolls (salmon, avocado, cream cheese and lumpfish roe) and shake nigiri (salmon) during a 90-minute class.

As well as learning a new skill and creating sushi snacks, each ticket includes soft drinks and a goody bag, featuring a certificate, bandana, rolling mat, chopsticks, chocolate fish and Japanese number and phrase sheet.

The classes operate with a minimum of 10 children and a maximum of 15. Tickets are £40 each and will soon be available via sticksnsushi.com.
