The Real Greek to make Liverpool debut

A Greek restaurant chain with sites all over the UK will make its debut in the city of Liverpool on Monday 29 January.

Owned by Toridoll Holdings, which also operates restaurant brands including Franco Manca and Marugame Udon, The Real Greek's latest venue is coming to Liverpool ONE, marking the brand's arrival to the city.

The opening marks the chain's first launch of 2024. Occupying a 3,900 sq ft unit on Paradise Street, the site has space for 162 covers, including 38 outdoors. It will be fitted out with the brand's signature style, featuring white and blue accents and Mediterranean-inspired art.

The Liverpool menu will include both hot and cold mezze, souvlaki wraps, Greek salads and Greek treats, such as baklava. Diners can also enjoy Greek drinks such as Moshchofilero and Mavrodaphne wine, Mythos beer and classic aperitifs such as Tsipouro and Ouzo.

The Liverpool branch marks the 26th site under The Real Greek umbrella. Following the strong demand for authentic Greek cuisine, the group hopes to continue expanding its restaurant portfolio across the UK.

"We have always been keen to expand to Liverpool, as it is renowned for its diverse and high-quality hospitality scene, so securing a home for our new restaurant right in the heart of Liverpool ONE is a hugely exciting announcement for us," says Sandro Spahiu, managing director of The Real Greek. "We are thrilled to be making our debut in this vibrant city, and can't wait to introduce our authentic Greek flavours to a brand-new audience."
