Pasta Evangelists opens second site

Fresh pasta concept Pasta Evangelists has opened its second pasta emporium in Greenwich, hot on the heels of the Richmond franchise launch in July.

The new restaurant follows the same take on Italian cuisine as the original branch, with fresh pasta shapes made by hand on-site and served to customers from the locations' open pasta counters.

The pasta emporium

In creating the 'pasta emporium' concept, the Pasta Evangelists team provides theatre through in-store pasta-making and never-before-seen pasta shapes. Visitors can enjoy an all-Italian funk and soul playlist, curated by London DJ Norsicaa. The restaurant offers free weekly wine tastings, informal Italian lessons and kids' pasta-making sessions every Saturday.

Guests can tuck into the cult 'Carbonara of Dreams', as well as the brand's truffle mac 'n' cheese and a range of plant-based and dairy-free options. If they can't decide, they can even order an exclusive 'Half & Half' option, enabling them to try two dishes for the price of one.

Antipasti is offered alongside the fresh pasta, including tomato and rosemary focaccia and mini calzone pizzas, on top of Italian desserts such as tiramisù, lemon tarts and a gelato assortment.

"We're delighted to launch our first franchise sites in Richmond and Greenwich," says Alessandro Savelli, CEO of Pasta Evangelists. "As Pasta Evangelists continues to expand, we're constantly looking to innovate and elevate our pasta offering, and the new franchises allow us to do exactly this. Not only will a variety of fresh pasta be served in a matter of minutes, but we are also providing a complimentary glass of wine to customers waiting for their meal, free weekly events for the local community, and a warm Italian hub where customers can enjoy their food either in the restaurant or at home."
