Group behind Artusi expands with third location

Peckham restaurant Artusi has opened a new site in Soho. The venue joins the brand's existing Peckham outpost and its sister restaurant, Marcella, in Deptford.

The latest branch of Artusi is located on the first floor of Underbelly Boulevard, offering the same unfussy seasonal dishes and Italian wines for which the brand is known. The menu will change throughout the week, but will always feature pasta made fresh that day.

Founder and head chef Jack Beer says of the group's expansion: "We're thrilled to be opening Artusi Soho at Underbelly Boulevard. Soho is the ultimate dining location, and Underbelly is the perfect fit for our down-to-earth neighbourhood-style restaurant. You can see a great show and spend your evening eating delicious Italian-inspired cuisine, what more could you want.?"

Ed Bartlam, co-director of Underbelly Boulevard, adds: "We couldn't be more thrilled for the acclaimed and much loved Artusi to be opening their doors with us in Soho. They have made their name by combining delicious Italian food with a relaxed and informal atmosphere. This is a great fit for Underbelly Boulevard and we know that Artusi Soho will be a great place to come for informal business lunches, social dinners and of course parties for all occasions. Tuck in!"
