Pasta Evangelists launches first airport outpost

Pasta Evangelists has announced the opening of its first-ever airport takeaway store at Manchester Airport Terminal 2, expanding its portfolio of consumer stores and takeaway kitchens across the UK.

This latest launch comes hot on the heels of new stores in Richmond, Greenwich and Chiswick, with several more to follow. The airport site is now open, introducing customers to the Pasta Evangelists’ Italian breakfast offering for the first time.

Italian eats at Manchester airport

Among the dish selection is the Italian breakfast bowl, a unique offering of oven-cooked pancetta, Italian sausage, frittata, borlotti beans and toasted focaccia with a vegetarian option also available. The wider breakfast menu includes such dishes as focaccia with pancetta or Italian sausage and Italian frittata with spinach, as well as a range of pastries, porridge and pancakes with berry compote.

The takeaway restaurant serves Pasta Evangelists’ fresh pasta and signature sauces. Popular options include the Carbonara of Dreams with spaghetti, beef and Chianti ragù with creste di gallo, mushroom fusilli with pistachio, cashew and chilli pesto with creste di gallo, and the cult seafood special lobster, crab and prawn ravioli.

Pasta salads such as chicken, rocket and tomato with Grana Padano cheese, and basil pesto with tomato and mafaldine pasta, are also available.

Alessandro Savelli, founder of Pasta Evangelists, comments: "We are thrilled to launch our first airport outlet at Manchester Airport. It is a very exciting time to see the rapid growth of the Pasta Evangelists brand as it continues to reach new consumers.

"This past year has been a huge step forward for us, the launch of the Pasta Factory, our Richmond, Chiswick and Greenwich restaurants and a wealth of regional openings for our takeaway kitchens. We are constantly seeking new ways to innovate and the Italian-inspired breakfast menu at Manchester Airport is just another example of our passion and willingness to expand into new areas."
